A brief history...
Rudolph Diesel (b. 1858- d. 1913) designed the diesel engine in 1894. Originally designed to run on peanut oil, the diesel engine was successfully tested in 1895. Before his death in 1913, he predicted that fuels based on vegetable oils might one day be "as important as petroleum and the coal tar products of the present time."
A time for change...
Petroleum prices are steadily climbing.
Our dependency on oil is affecting our national stability, our economy, our livelihood.
Our dependency affects our international relationships, our domestic realities, and the hopes and dreams we have for our families.
Our dependency impacts the health of our children, our friends, our parents.
It is time to make a change to a viable alternative.
